Studies are run under conditions optimized for your compound. We will work closely with you to design a study that both fits your budget and provides the answers you need. In addition to our ExpressPlus™ assays, we also offer custom ADME assays. For example, these customized assays allow you to: 

• get meaningful results from sticky compounds, compounds with low solubility and pro-drugs;

• determine the extent of regional absorption and metabolism using intestinal segments from humans or rodents;

• assess biliary excretion in an isolated, perfused rat liver model;

• determine if a compound can be successfully administered via a non-oral route by using transport studies based on nasal tissue, buccal tissue, skin, or vaginal tissue;

• assess the CNS penetration potential using in situ rat brain perfusion;

• determine the barriers to bioavailability using surgically modified rats, minipigs, or dogs.

• develop customized models specific to your compound, dose route, or target area.

The results from these assays are delivered to you in either our basic or standard report format, or you can provide your own template.
