Custom ADME Assays
Assays run under conditions optimized for your compound
In addition to our Express assays, we also offer custom ADME assays. For example, these assays allow you to:
- get meaningful results from sticky compounds, compounds with low solubility and prodrugs;
- determine the extent of regional absorption and metabolism using intestinal segments from humans or rodents;
- assess biliary excretion in an isolated, perfused rat liver model;
- determine if a compound can be successfully administered via a non-oral route by using transport studies based on nasal tissue, buccal tissue, skin, or vaginal tissue;
- determine the CNS penetration potential of a compound using in situ rat brain perfusion studies;
- determine the barriers to bioavailability using surgically modified rats, mini-pigs, or dogs.
