Associate Scientist, Bioanalytical

Headquarters: Exton, PA
Absorption Systems is seeking an bioanalytical scientist for its analytical department. This position will provide analytical support, primarily through LC-MS, for Discovery level in-vitro and in-vivo studies, which support and assist various biological groups in understanding the ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Excretion) properties of new chemical entitles.
The responsibilities of this position include the preparation of various biological matrices for analysis, the development and/or validation of LC-MS-(MS) methods, and the reporting of quantitative results. The successful candidate will interact with scientists within and outside of the analytical department to meet study objective and timelines.
The successful candidate must have a B.S. degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a related discipline with 2-4 years laboratory experience or a Master’s degree with 0-2 years laboratory experience. He/she must be highly motivated and have attention to detail. Previous experience with Applied Biosystems (ABSciex) mass spectrometers is desired. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.

Associate Scientist, In-vivo ADME

Headquarters: Exton, PA
Absorption Systems is seeking a full time Associate Scientist to join our in vivo team responsible for performing pharmacokinetics studies in small animals. Job responsibilities will include surgery, dosing and sampling in rats and mice, along with general vivarium husbandry and maintenance.
Qualified candidates should have a B.S. in biological sciences or a closely related field, plus 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience. He or she must be highly motivated, capable of learning new techniques, and have a high attention to detail. Prior animal experience is a plus.
